Gum Grafting

When there is gum recession, it is usually a side effect of the real problem which is bone loss around the natural tooth or implant; losing bone and gums around our teeth means losing the natural support around our teeth long term which highly likely lead to further complications like teeth sensitivity, higher decay or tooth wear, risk of the exposed roots, mobility or loss of teeth. In order to prevent such issues, a gum grafting procedure is undertaken in some cases. Please consult with our lovely Dr. Nash and he will be able to help you with your questions or concerns about gum grafting.
