To all our dear patients & website visitors:
COVID-19 Level 2 Update
Open for routine dental care again – back to normality
We are now OPEN and have instituted strict protocols of PPE and physical distancing.
Please call us to book your long-awaited dental treatment. Our Team will advise you on the entry & treatment protocols.
To care for all our patients at this difficult time, we will absorb ALL costs associated with PPE & patient safety protection protocols.
Welcome back everyone!
Now that we have moved into alert level 2, we are open not only for emergencies but for routine dental care as well. The team here at Kumeu Dental have been overwhelmed by our community’s support through this difficult time to unite against COVID-19. We are now open our normal business hours Monday through to Saturday. We are extremely excited to see all of our amazing patients smiling in our practice again.
What is routine Dental care?
During Alert Level 2, we can now see all new and existing patients for not only emergency appointments but also routine non-essential dental care. This includes a wide range of dental treatments including:
- Exams & X-rays
- Hygiene Services
- Fillings, Crowns, Root canals, Bridges, Veneers
- Tooth Extractions & Wisdom teeth removal
- Teeth Whitening
- Orthodontics & Invisalign
What are we doing to keep you safe?
Our number one priority has always been the health and safety of our patients and staff. We are heavily guided by the New Zealand Dental Council and our practice meets all the Infection Control and Prevention standards given by the NZDC. At Kumeu Dental we have always taken cross infection control extremely seriously even pre COVID-19. Kumeu Dental is very proud to have successfully treated many existing and new patients throughout the lockdown while minimising the spread of COVID-19.
Screening patients before appointments:
To ensure your safety, our staff safety and to limit the risk of infection, we will be in touch to ask our screening questions prior to your appointment Please consider the following questions:
- Have you, or anyone coming in contact with you, had contact with someone with a confirmed diagnosis of COVID-19?
- Have you travelled internationally in the last 14 days?
- Do you have any flu like symptoms:
– Sore throat
– Shortness of breath
– Loss of sense of smell & taste
If you have answered yes to any of those questions above and you have an appointment booked with us in the next 2 weeks, please call one of our friendly receptionists on 09 41295067, so we can talk through your options. We may also call you closer to your appointment to reconfirm none of your answers have changed.
Thank you so much for your support in helping us stop the spread of COVID-19.
